Graduate Programs in Marketing

The following graduate programs are offered through the UConn School of Business in the area of Marketing.  Given the rapid growth in social and digital media, there is a great demand for marketing professionals who can successfully use digital analytics to gain insights into customer decision-making, assess the success of marketing activities, and to strategically act on these analytics to make marketing decisions. Concurrently, there is also strong demand for marketing expertise in the areas of brand management, new product and innovation management, integrated marketing communication, and managing customer insights.

We also recognize the importance of social responsibility in business. Our new Master of Science in Social Responsibility & Impact in Business (MSSRIB) program empowers students to understand, develop, and embed social responsibility initiatives within business models, preparing them to navigate regulations, implement environmentally and socially responsible practices, and drive positive social and economic change.

In addition to these specialized programs, our Online MBA and Flex MBA programs offer a more generalized approach to marketing, requiring students to take 9 core courses and 5 elective courses. In order to complete the marketing concentration, students are required to take MKTG 5115 (Marketing Management) and any three MKTG courses with topics including Marketing Research and Intelligence, New Product and Service Innovation Management, and Strategic Brand Management.
